Over the last decade, leading teams at Amazon across both the UK and Australian markets, Sarah has experienced first-hand the explosive phenomenon of AWS becoming the world's most popular cloud platform. Notable achievements include: helping a leading Global news organisation to go all-in on AWS, building out the UK & Ireland’s Game Tech team to support video game studios scale their infrastructure to meet the increased demand of players during the Covid and leading the AWS Australian FinTech and Payments team. Now she is taking this experience to work side-by-side with AWS account teams, helping businesses to not only seamlessly migrate to AWS but also to accelerate their cloud modernisation, ensuring that their cloud investment is being used as a strategic asset to the business.

Chris has over 15 years in enterprise technology, holding senior roles at Macquarie Cloud Services, Hitachi, and IBM. He has grown with the shift from early cloud adoption to today’s digital platforms and is recognised with multiple Customer Club awards for driving engagement and trusted client relationships. His experience spans mid-market clients through to multi-million-dollar accounts with organisations including Westpac, TAL, UBS, IQVIA, and Experian Australia. At PurePlay Cloud, Chris partners with AWS account teams to accelerate cloud adoption, transformation, and GenAI innovation. He also holds an MBA and is committed to helping clients harness AWS as a strategic enabler for growth.
Jeffery Fernandez
With over 20 years spanning Web Development, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering, Jeffery now serves as a Senior Cloud Engineer at PurePlay Cloud. Drawing on a decade of AWS experience and certifications in Security Specialty and AI Practitioner, he specialises in automation-driven cloud solutions and infrastructure as code. Known for his expertise in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, Jeffery partners with clients to architect secure, scalable cloud environments that enable operational excellence and accelerate business transformation. When not architecting cloud solutions, he can be found exploring the great outdoors.

With over 10 years across Systems Administration, DevOps, and Cloud Engineering, Phil is a Senior Cloud Engineer at PurePlay Cloud. He has held roles at Rackspace, JPMorgan Chase, and Cockroach Labs, and brings experience delivering solutions with AWS Professional Services in Australia. A CISSP-certified professional, Phil specialises in secure cloud migrations, database modernisation, and automation-driven platforms. At PurePlay Cloud, he partners with AWS account teams and customers to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud environments that accelerate business outcomes.
